Instructions for uploading a finished print file
As an alternative to creating a custom label in our online editor, you can upload a print file you have created (PDF or raster graphic, 300 dpi, CMYK color mode) for your private label product.
Please note: The legally required information in the label templates must not be hidden or covered. After uploading your design, place it in the background of the online editor.
Sample templates for designing in a graphics program are available for download at the bottom of this page (EPS files). The legally required information is already included. In this case, place your design in the foreground after uploading it to the online editor.
Please be sure to note the restrictions below when processing vector files.
Upload files (.png, .jpg, .svg, .pdf)
By default, you can upload the following files:
- Raster graphics (images): Accepted formats are .png and .jpg with a maximum file size of 5 MB . Please ensure the resolution is high enough for 300 dpi print quality. If the resolution is insufficient, you will receive a warning message and can reduce the element to a suitable size. Alternatively, upload the element again at a higher resolution.
- Vector files: Supported formats are .svg and .pdf with a maximum size of 2 MB . Please note the following restrictions for processing vector files.
Restrictions for processing vector files (.svg, .pdf)
- Contours and gradients are not supported and are automatically removed after the vector file is uploaded.
- Make sure outlines are expanded and only solid colors are used before uploading the file.
- The following SVG elements are not supported: clipPath, mask, filter.
- An SVG/PDF file can contain a maximum of 3,000 elements and up to 50 bitmap images.
